Ever run for office? (School, club, organization, politics, etc.) Did you get elected?
At my FE college I was elected Secretary of the Student Council, then when the Chairman resigned mid-term I was chosen by the Council to replace him. Then at university I ran for Vice-President (Finance & Administration) but was soundly beaten.
