Kathy Leander, Switzerland's singer at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest. She captivated me on the night with her beauty and her perfect singing voice. From that moment on I never gave up trying to follow her career, despite the lack of information available about her. My persistent online searching was rewarded in 2004 when I found her via the website of a musician she was working with, and my crush culminated in a trip to Geneva in May 2006 to see her perform. I had the pleasure of presenting her with 10 red roses that night.
